Dino's Restaurant is located in historic downtown Elizabethton. It was founded by Dino Senesi and served the first order of lasagna in East Tennessee on June 20, 1963. When Dino retired he sold it to Kent Williams. Mr. Williams owned a successful restaurant in Miami, Florida, but decided to move back to his native Carter County when his restaurant was destroyed by Hurricane Andrew. In 2010 he sold the restaurant to his sons David and John who continue to serve the same great food in a family friendly atmosphere that Dino created over 45 years ago.

We just finished Dino's Restaurant's first ever television commercial. It will be airing this Friday night during the live broadcast of the Elizabethton Cyclones vs the Greeneville Green Devils football game on WEMT Fox Tri Cities. Go Cyclones!

Dino's Restaurant is now hiring a full time grill cook/short order cook. Pay rate will be determined by the experience level of the hired candidate. We will also be taking applications for part time general kitchen help. This would be a great position for a high school or college student. Dino's Restaurant is now hiring someone to fill a position in the kitchen. The person who is hired will work several different areas of the kitchen such as grill and fryer cook, prep cook, pot washer and dishwasher. Pretty much someone to be a Jack or Jill of all trades. The position will be between 35 and 40 hours a week with a varying schedule. Pay will be determined by the applicant's prior experience. If interested please come by Dino's at 420 E. Elk Ave. in downtown Elizabethton Monday-Saturday between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to pick up an application, Please no phone calls about the position.
There is one former employee and two current employees in this photo. It is the three young men in the red jackets. We will continue to say that a big reason for our success is because of the outstanding young people we have had the pleasure of hiring. Outstanding job and we are very proud, and not surprised, by your accomplishments.
Our repairs are finished, so Dino's will be reopening Friday, March 10 at 11 a.m. We thank you so much for your patience and we will be ready to cook all of your Dino's favorites. We want to say a special thank you to the Southern Restaurant for providing us with much needed water for cleaning while our water and drain lines were being repaired and replaced. That is one thing we have always known living and working in Elizabethton is that you can always count on your neighbors when you need help. Thanks again and we look forward to seeing you.
We want to let everyone know that Dino's will be closed Monday, March 6 through Thursday, March 9 due to an accident that resulted from a car hitting the back of our building. Thankfully no one was injured, but the cinder block wall was not as lucky. The repairs should be completed by Thursday, but if there are any delays we will update this post. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause, but we would like to invite you to take this opportunity to frequent some of the other great restaurants in Downtown Elizabethton. Our friends at J's Corner, The Coffee Company, Jiggy Rays, The Southern, The Red Chili, The Covered Bridge Cafe and The Lil' Dip And Deli (The Lil' Dip And Deli is not in downtown, but they are really good.) would all love to see you. Thank you again for all the support you all have shown us over the years and we will come back from our forced vacation to continue doing what we love...serving you all the great food that Dino Senesi himself left as his legacy to our great community.
For those of you heading out to church this morning or if you are just going out for another loaf of bread, Dino's will be open regular hours today from 11 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Some of the back roads are still pretty bad, but the sun is already starting to work it's magic. Stay safe out there.
Dino's will be closed today due to the bad weather. We want our employees to be safe, so we feel that they should not be obligated to drive to work in these conditions. Everyone please stay warm and safe today. We will reopen tomorrow, Sunday Jan. 8 barring any worsening weather conditions.

You will be getting a hearty sit-down meal with the speed that virtually matches fast food. During this time of year once you are done with your chores, who wants to cook? You can bring the whole family down to Dino's and have a joyful family dinner and let us do all the work. Our menu has the variety to please everyone from the kids to the grandparents and everyone in between. Dino's Restaurant is now hiring for the position of morning prep cook. The responsibilities of the position are to arrive in the morning and prep all food items that are needed to carry out the days business. This includes cooking pasta, making salad and other vegetable prep, preparing the daily lunch specials, buttering bread, putting up stock from the delivery trucks and other small tasks. The shift starts at 6 a.m. and lasts until anytime between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. This position is a Monday-Friday position and averages between 30-37 hours a week. If interested please come by Dino's at 420 E. Elk Ave. in Elizabethton between the hours of 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to fill out an application. No phone calls please. The pay will start at $9 per hour for a qualified applicant with experience.
Dino's will be closed for two days this week. We will be closed for the official holiday of Labor Day on Monday, September 5. We will be closed for the unofficial holiday of The Battle At Bristol Saturday, September 10. Many of us have tickets to the game and to be honest we figured we would be closed this day when the game was first announced. We hate to miss all of our loyal Car Show customers, but this will give you a chance to try one of the other fine establishments in downtown Elizabethton. We will be open our regular hours Tuesday-Friday and Sunday. Everyone have a great holiday weekend. Have fun and stay safe.
